The Souvenir Product Design of Muang Phan Community Ban Phue

Abstract
The souvenir handicraft product design that convey to the identity of Muang Phan community, Ban Phu Udon Thani Province aims to study and to develop the souvenir handicraft product which is the identity of Muang Pan community and to broadcast the knowledge of the souvenir product design to Muang Phan Community, the scope area of Tumbon Muang Phan Aumphur Ban Phue has 15 villages 7 communities split up into 6 groups of the native fabric product and a group of the basketry, to inquire 100 consumers per 1 work of youth volunteer which a total of 900 people had been found obviously the identity ofMuang Phan community is Phu Phra Bat Historical Park as the tourism attraction related to Muang Phan district’s slogan, The product design could conduce from the shape, the ancient remain outline, cave wall pattern and Pra Put Ta Bat Bua Bok outline, the usability due to the villager has believed about thePu Pra Bat Historical Park as the tourism attraction has the sacred, especially Ho Nang U-Sa and Pra Put Ta Bat Bua Bok influence to the product design should consider about the usability with appropriately, a new product had been designed as a total of 9 sets, the first reason from the consumer to purchase souvenir product was the product could convey to the tourism attraction as 35.6 percentages, second was the beauty and the new product style as 30.2 percentages and the third was the usability of product as 16.8 percentage, when meet the consumer demand conduce making the prototype and evaluated by the community group through the workshop activity, the satisfaction of the community group had received the knowledge about project content was a high level (mean =4.64), the satisfaction of a total project was the highest level (mean=4.67) and the satisfaction of applying the knowledge for usability was the highest level (mean=4.86).
