The Application of Sangahavatthu 4 in Field Work Practice( SO1059): A Case Study Social Work Students, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Salaya, Nakhonpathom Province

Abstract

The research has objectives to study the application of of Sangahavatthu 4 in Field Work Practice: A Case Study Social Work Students, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Salaya, Nakhonpathom Province. It was found that there were two types of field work practice that the social students applied to work; social case work and social group work. The students usually works following the five steps and process of social work practice. For the application of Sangahavatthu 4 in field work practice, it was found that Dana-giving- Piyavaca- right speech, Atthacariya- useful conduct, and Samanattata, equality- were at highest mean level. The social work students could applied the principle of Sangahavatthu 4 during field work practice. In this study, it was also found that there were three problems;1. The department of social work,MBU, should teach more social work knowledge for the students, 2. The department of social work, MBU, should train more social work skills for the students, and 3. The social work students have their own problems that have the influences during their field work practice.
