The Management of the General Education Section of PhraPariyattidhamma Schools in Nongbualamphu District, Nongbualamphu Province

Abstract

This research has objectives to study: 1) the problems to administrate and the suggestions to develop the administration of the general education section of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools in Nongbualamphu province. The researcher collected the data from 50 respondents including 9 educational administrators, 40 educational personnel and the director of Office of Nongbualamphu Buddhism, and analyzed the data by Percentage, Mean and Standard Deviation statistics.

The results were as follows:

1. For the general administration of the general education section of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools in Nongbualamphu province, it was found that planning was at highest mean level of practice; 1) academic administration consisted of learning plan, and the selection of learning structure and responsible personnel in the syllabus, 2) budget administration consisted of planning accountancy, 3) personnel administration consisted of planning of human resource, personnel position policy, and responsible personnel to perform the duty, and 4) general administration consisted of the selection of administrative assistant.
2. The overall administration of the general education section of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools in Nongbualamphu province was at fair mean level. While considering in each aspect, it was found that the aspect of academic administration, the aspect of general administration was at high mean level. The lowest mean level of administration was personnel administration.
3. There were 3 suggestions from this study; 1) to find sufficient resource to support the development of academic, personnel, budget and general administration of the general education section of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools, 2) the administrators should grant the society to do administrative plan and transparently administrate, and 3) the administrators should develop public relation of the general education section of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools.
