Effects of Six Thinking Hats on Grade 10 Students’ Learning achievement and Critical Thinking

Abstract
Two objectives of this research utilizing Six Thinking Hats wereto compare Grade 10 students’ learning achievement from the pre-test and posttest of Consumer Protection learning unit and to compare their critical thinking. The samples were 15 grade 10 students at Sungnoen School, Sungnoen, NakhonRatchasima in the semester 1, 2019. The research instruments consisted of the lesson plans, the learning achievement test, and the critical thinking test. This research designwas one group pre-test-posttest one. Percentage, mean, standard deviation,t-test dependent, and Wilcoxon matched paired-rank test were used for the data analysis. It was found that the student’s learning achievement obtained from the posttest scores was significantly higher than the pre-test ones at the level of .01 and the critical thinking ability from the posttest scores was significantly higher than the pre-test ones at the level of .01.
