Abstract

Nowadays, the world is developing and changing rapidly. Information and communications technology (ICT) has a significant role into our day to day lives. Therefore, by using an outdated Governance System may not generated its best efficiency in this regard. Also not inclined with the current modern cities. For that reasons, the development of Smart Governance is a must. Smart Governance is a new dimension that can be used or applied to develop a smart city. The object of this study is to compare criterion indicators for evaluating Smart Governance which has been developed by International Organizations and Smart Cities, which are ISO, City Key, ITU, U4SSC, Singapore, New York, Barcelona and Dubai by analysis and synthesis.

          The results indicates that the least indicators for evaluating Smart Governance including, public participation, public and social service, and transparent governance which taken from the main indicators of the cities with Smart Governance.
