Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purposes of this research were to study, 1) To search for ways to enhance the capacity of the instructors, 2) To build the guidelines for the capacity of the instructors, 3) To create a manual for capacity building to solve problems and develop lecturers problem solving and development of lecturer. The Capacity building for program teachers Buddhist Program Faculty of Religion and Philosophy. The research sample were 20 lecturers in the faculty of religion and philosophy and Buddhist studies. This research was a qualitative research using in-depth interview process. Analyze data and then present descriptive data.

The research found that : 1)The problem of research on empowerment of lecturers in the faculty of religion and philosophy. Overall, In the aspect of teaching and learning and desirable characteristics Of course teachers in a good level Found that the course content covers modern appropriate Suitable for students in Buddhism. Promoting career advancement

and budget in promoting teachers development to have moderate potential. The production of academic works, the production of research textbooks is small compared to the proportion of the curriculum teachers. 2) There are 4 important mission missions of higher education institutions or universities as the intellectual faculties of societies that are internationally recognized. There is 1. Producing graduates with quality to develop a high level of manpower for the society of the nation. 2. Research to create knowledge for academic excellence. 3. Academic service for society Creative sustain the society to progress and develop the quality of people life in the society 4. Preservation  of art and culture in order to maintain the uniqueness of Thailand. It was found that the mission of all 4 areas needed to enhance the proficiency of the program teachers, namely knowledge, skills, desirable characteristics. And in the promotion of career progress. 3) A guideline for enhancing the capacity of curriculum teachers in terms of knowledge, skills, desirable characteristics Supporting career progress of the course teachers.

          The research findings found problems with the potential development of teachers. The role of modern teachers is very important for the development of learners in accordance with the curriculum. With the aim of being professors as researchers Take the research results as part of teaching and learning to solve problems that occur with students. To be used to solve problems The administrators of the higher education institutions must support all 4 areas in order for teacher development and organizational development to continue to be effective.
