Participatory Action Research
Abstract
This article aims to; present participatory action research; understand the meaning, importance, and systematic and clear action research process. There is a joint research process by all workers in the area with external researchers emphasizing on the change of the organization, community, society so that everyone participates in ownership and responsibility for the results of change according to the set objectives. The steps of the participatory action research process are: 1) Participatory preparation, 2) Planning, 3) Participatory action, 4) Observation, 5) Participatory reflection, 6) Participatory planning, 7) Participating in the new practice, 8) Participating in observation, 9) Participating in the analysis, and 10) Participating in the research report.
