Transformational Leadership of School Administrators Under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study the level of transformational leadership of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; and 2) to compare the transformational leadership of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. This research aimed to survey the opinions of teachers under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The target group was teachers, totaling 317 people. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. 302 questionnaires were returned, accounting for 95%. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance.

          The results of the research were as follows: 1) The level of transformational leadership of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, in overall was in high (𝑥̅=3.93). While considering each aspect, aspects of Ideologically influence, aspect of inspiration, aspect of intellectual stimulating and aspect of considering individuality were at the high level (𝑥̅=3.97, 𝑥̅=3.93 and 𝑥̅=3.89), respectively. 2) The result of comparing transformational leadership of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 along with teachers’ opinion with different sex, education, and work experience found that teachers with different sex and work experience had no statistically different opinion. However, different education level had statistically different opinion significant at 0.05.
