The Development of Literature Learning Achievement Using The Four Noble Truths Learning Process for Mathayom Suksa 2 Students at Wat Sri Chon School, Khonkaen Province

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) develop academic achievement in literature using The Four Noble Truths learning process for Mathayom Suksa 2 Students at Wat Si Chan School, Khonkaen province; 2) compare academic achievement in literature before and after implementing the Four Noble Truths learning process for Mathayom Suksa 2 Students at Wat Si Chan School, Khonkaen province; 3) compare academic achievement in literature using the Four Noble Truths learning process for Mathayom Suksa 2 Students at Wat Si Chan School, Khonkaen province with 80% criterion; and 4) investigate student satisfaction with the literature learning management based on the Four Noble Truths learning process. The study was experimental research. The sample consisted of 36 Mathayom Suksa 2/1 Students in the second semester of the 2024 academic year at Wat Si Chan School, Khonkaen province. The research instruments included: 1) four lesson plans based on the Four Noble Truths learning process, 2) an academic achievement test, and 3) a student satisfaction questionnaire. Data analysis employed mean, standard deviation, and T-test (dependent).

The research findings indicate that: 1) The academic achievement in literature using the Four Noble Truths learning process for Mathayom Suksa 2 Students showed a post-test mean score of 35.47 significantly higher than the pre-test mean score of 15.67 at a .05 statistical significance level. 2) The academic achievement in literature using the Four Noble Truths learning process for Grade 8 students reached 88.68%, significantly surpassing the set criterion of 80% at a .05 statistical significance level. 3) Students were highly satisfied with the learning process (μ= 4.12).
