Beliefs and 4 Human Needs in Tai Yong Folktales of Lampoon Province

Abstract
This article simed to analyse beliefs and 4 human needs that shown in Tai Yong folktales in Ban Donluang, Pasangdistrict, Lampoon Province. Studied from 200 folktalest was examined while 54 selected were analyzed the beliefs. there were 6 types of beliefs : 1) Buddism : sin, merit, hell and heaven, human world 2) superstition, ghost 3) fate and fortune, cycle of death and birth, dream, 4) Bramin : offerings
5) the world creation, and 6) Himaban forest. The most found out of beliefs were superstition, magic spell, sacred things, and ghost. The least found was about the world creation. From 40 selected tales concerned about the 4 needs of human were : accommodation, food, garment, and medicine. The most found was accommodation, the least was medicine
