The Management of the Disability Support Services Center in Chiangmai Polytechnic College

Abstract
This research aimed to study the management of the Disability Support Services Center in Chiang Mai Polytechnic College by using the technique of brainstorming to share the future concept (FSC) and focus group discussion. Sample group was 10 vocational administrators and teachers. It was a qualitative research and there were 4 procedures : 1) survey phase, 2) brainstorming phase, 3) design phase, and 4) evaluation phase. The research was limited to study only 4 aspects that related to disable learners in Chiang Mai Polytechnic College; 1) aspects of academic. 2) aspects of budget. 3) aspects of personnel and 4) aspects of general administration.
The results found as following; 1) aspects of academic. There were two vocational certificate program one with Department of Home Economics, Chiang Mai Anusarn Sunthorn School for deaf students, and another with Yadfon Center for Empowerment and Vocational Development for Persons with Disability, Chiang Mai Province 2) aspects of budget. The special budget was allocated by authorities 3) aspects of personnel. Chiang Mai Polytechnic staffs were encouraged to participate in training program, workshops, seminars and site visit. Board of Disability Support Service Center, Chiang Mai Polytechnic College was set up, in addition : and 4) aspect of general administration. Office of Registration and the board were responsible to serve, recruit and collect disable students data.
