บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้ศึกษาถึงการสร้างสำนึกความเป็นชาติผ่านบทเพลงรักชาติจีน โดยนำบทเพลงรักชาติจีนที่แต่งและเผยแพร่ในช่วง ค.ศ. 1921 ถึง ค.ศ. 1976 มาวิเคราะห์ภายใต้แนวคิดเรื่องชาติกับแนวคิดบทเพลงทางการเมือง
ซึ่งผู้วิจัยแบ่งเพลงรักชาติจีนออกเป็น 2 ยุค คือ ยุคก่อนสถาปนาประเทศ และยุคสร้างชาติภายใต้ระบอบคอมมิวนิสต์
ผลการศึกษาพบว่าบทเพลงรักชาติจีนยุคก่อนสถาปนาประเทศ ประพันธ์ขึ้นโดยมีจุดประสงค์หลักเพื่อระดมมวลชนให้ต่อต้านญี่ปุ่นและรัฐบาลฝ่ายขวา จึงได้เน้นสำนึกความเป็นชาติที่มีลักษณะดังนี้ คือ การสร้างสำนึก ศัตรูของชาติจีน ร่วมกัน ชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่ก้าวหน้าภายใต้การนำของเหมาเจ๋อตุง ชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่นำโดยพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์ ซึ่งมีบทบาทสำคัญต่อความก้าวหน้าของชาติ ชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่ประกอบไปด้วยคนหลากหลายอาชีพ ที่ต่างก็มีความสำคัญในความเจริญก้าวหน้าและมั่นคงต่อชาติจีน ต่อมาเมื่อถึงยุคสร้างชาติภายใต้ระบอบคอมมิวนิสต์เป็นต้นมา บทเพลงรักชาติจีนแต่งขึ้นโดยมีจุดประสงค์หลักที่เปลี่ยนไปคือสร้างความชอบธรรมให้กับระบอบคอมมิวนิสต์อันเป็นระบอบการปกครองใหม่ของประเทศ แต่การเน้นสำนึกความเป็นชาติมีรูปแบบที่ไม่ได้ต่างไปจากยุคก่อนมากนักคือการเน้น ชาติจีนเป็นชาติก้าวหน้าภายใต้การนำของเหมา เจ๋อตุง ชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่นำโดยพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์ ชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่ประกอบไปด้วยคนหลากหลายอาชีพ และชาติจีนเป็นชาติที่ประกอบด้วยคนหลายกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์
