The Effects of Using Online Boardgame Toward to Learning Achievement in Final Consonant for Grade 3 Student

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) construct and determine the efficiency of the online board game final consonant for grade 3 students, 2) study the effectiveness of the online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students with the following points: 2.1)  to compare the learning achievement on final consonant for grade 3 students before and after learning by using board games online and 2.2) to study students’ satisfaction  toward teaching and learning on online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students. The sample group was 23 students in Grade 3 at Ban Wiang Haeng School, Wiang Haeng District, Chiangmai Province, academic year 2022, selected by cluster random sampling. The research instruments consisted of online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students, learning management plan for learning final consonant, and the questionnaire on satisfaction toward teaching and learning on online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students. The data were statistically analyzed for percentage, mean (gif.latex?\bar{x}), standard deviation (S.D.), performance determination (E1/E2), and t-test.


               The research results revealed that 1) the E1/E2 values of 5 sets online board game final consonant for grade 3 students; Set 1 Taw Sa Kot Tong Matra, Set 2 Long Panya Mea Kok Kan, Set 3 Mea Kob Jum Hi Man, Set 4 Mea Kon Nan Sanngay Day and, Set 5 Puak Rao Ma Tam Mea Kod was 85.65/87.61 which was higher than the efficiency of 85/85 standard criteria, 2) on the effectiveness of the online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students, it was found that 2.1)  the learning achievement on final consonant for grade 3 students was higher than before learning on final consonant using the online board game with the statistical significance level  at 0.01 and 2.2) the students’ satisfaction  toward teaching and learning on online board game on final consonant for grade 3 students was at the highest level.
