Development of Poem Writing Skills in the Form of Thai Octameter Poems by Using Activity Packages to Support Creative Thinking for Secondary School Grade 2 Students

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) create and seek for efficiency of activity packages to support creative thinking in poem writing in the form of Thai octameter poem for secondary school grade 2 students according to criteria 80/80, and 2) compare the academic achievement in the poem writing in the form of Thai octameter poem for secondary school grade 2 students both in pre and post of learning. By using activity packages to support creative thinking. The samples were 14 students of secondary school grade 2, semester 2, the academic year 2023 of Chomchanwittayakharn School. The research tools included 1) a lesson plan on the topic of the poem writing skill in the form of Thai octameter poem, 2) activity packages to support creative thinking in the topic of the poem writing skill in the form of Thai octameter poem, and 3) achievement evaluation in poem writing both in pre and post learning. Statistics used to analyze data were percentage, average, and standard deviation.
The results revealed that 1) the efficiency of activity packages to support creative thinking on the topic of poem writing in the form of Thai octameter poems for secondary school grade 2 students had an efficiency equal to 80.74/81.19, above the criteria 80/80 specified, and 2) the academic achievement on poem writing in the form of Thai octameter poems for secondary school grade 2 students who learned by using activity packages to support creative thinking showed that pre-test results had an average of 17.36. Post-test results had an average equal to 24.36. When comparing the result between pre-learning and post-learning, it was found that the result of the post-test was higher than the pre-test.
