The study results revealed that there were 7 areas of factors influencing professional internship in hospital among Cambodian students learning Thai as a foreign language, i.e. 1) sustainable development goals for education in Cambodia, 2) being a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, 3) foreign investment promotion project of the Kingdom of Cambodia, 4) the strategy to develop Thailand as a medical hub, 5) cooperation from Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), 6) the management of Bachelor of Arts of Thai curriculum of Institute of Foreign Language, Royal University of Phnom Penh, and 7) the preparation of professional internship in hospital. Policy factors promoting the learning Thai as a foreign language for Cambodian students influenced the professional internship in using Thai for business in health services at hospitals.
