The Development of Comprehensive Reading Ability of Prathomsuksa 5 Students by Using Learning Managementkwl Plus Technique with 5W1H Questioning Technique

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare the comprehensive reading ability of students in Prathomsuksa 5 before and after learning using the KWL Plus learning management technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique, 2) compare the comprehensive reading ability of students in Prathomsuksa 5 using the KWL Plus technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique against a 70% criterion, and 3) to students’ satisfaction towards the KWL Plus learning management technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique. The sample group was 29 students in Prathomsuksa 5 at AnubanLamnarai School, Chai Badan District, Lopburi Province, academic year 2023, selected through cluster random sampling using classrooms as sampling units. The research tools included learning management plans, comprehension tests, and satisfaction questionnaires regarding the KWL Plus technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique. Statistical analysis was conducted using percentages, means, standard deviations and t-test
The research results revealed that: 1) the comprehensive reading ability of students in Prathomsuksa 5 using the KWL Plus technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique was significantly higher that before learning at the .05 significance level, 2) ability of the comprehensive reading of students in Prathomsuksa 5 were 78.5%, which was significantly higher than the 70% criterion at the .05 significance level, and 3) overall, students expressed the highest level of satisfaction with the KWL Plus technique combined with the 5W1H questioning technique.
