A study of the Hmong language of Ban Tup Kho Dan Sai District Loei Province

Abstract

This academic article aims to present the study of the Hmong language of Ban Tup Kho, Kok Sathon sub district, Dan Sai District, Loei Province. And to study Hmonglanguage of Ban Tup kho by learning theory. Data was collected by formal and informal interviews of 7 village sages and analysis of related documents. Content analysis was used for data analysis. Results of academic article were presented by analytical description. Then the results were  found that: 1) The history of the Hmong language 2) The consonants in the Hmong language has 57 sounds 3) Hmong language has 14 vowels 4) Hmong language has 7 tones 5) Conjugation in Hmong language 6) There are 5 sentences in Hmong language; 1. Past tense 2. Present tense 3. Future tense 4. Negative sentence 5. Sentences with classifier. Therefore, the study and inheritance of the Hmong language is the preservation of language culture in both communication and rituals, leading to the conservation of the Hmong language for using in communication among the Hmong ethnic groups.
