A Study of Opinions of Teachers towards State and Expectation of Morality and Ethics Promotion for Students in Private Schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study opinions of teachers towards state of morality and ethics promotion for students in private schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2; 2) examine opinions of teachers towards expectation of morality and ethics promotion for students in private schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 and 3) compare state and expectation of morality and ethics promotion for students in private schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The samples were 253 teachers of private schools. The instrument was a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test. The findings revealed that : 1) as a whole, the opinions of teachers towards state of morality and ethics promotion for students were at a high level by ranking from the highest to the lowest as follows: instructing, organizing school activities, environmental management, and learning management; 2) as a whole, the opinions of teachers towards expectation of morality and ethics promotion for students were at a high level by ranking from the highest to the lowest as follows: organizing school activities, environmental management, learning management, and instructing; and 3) as a whole, the opinions of teachers towards state and expectation of morality and ethics promotion for students were different at the significant level of .05. The expectation of morality and ethics promotion was higher than state of morality and ethics promotion.
