A Study of State and Expectation of People towards Administration of Pakhai Town Munlelpalty, Tambon Pakhai, Pakhai} Phranakhon Si Ayatthaya Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study state and expectation of people towards administration of Pakhai Town Municipality, Tambon Pakhai, Amphur Pakhai, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province, and 2) compare state and expectation classified by personal factors of people towards administration of Pakhai Town Municipality, Tambon Pakhai, Amphur Pakhai, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province.  The samples were 380 people who had the right to vote in the area of Pakhai Town Municipality, Tambon Pakhai, Amphur Pakhai, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province.  The research tool was a questionnaire.   The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation,     t-test, F-test and LSD by setting the significant level of .05. The findings showed that : 1) As a whole, the state and expectation of people towards administration of Pakhai Town Municipality, Tambon Pakhai, Amphur Pakhai, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province was at a moderate level. When each aspect was considered, it was found that the basic structure was at a high level. The public health, services and economy were at the moderate level. 2) The opinions towards state of people who had various genders, ages, jobs and education backgrounds were not different. The expectation towards the administration of Pakhai Town Municipality, Tambon Pakhai, Amphur Pakhai, Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province was not different. The results showed that:  1) As a whole, the levels of officials’ opinions towards good governance were at a high level.  When each aspect was classified, it was found that the administration for achievement of government task. 2) The differences of age, education background and position affected the good governance at the different levels.
