Teaching Strategy for Developin Thai Students' Chinese Listening and Speaking Skills

Abstract

Teaching Chinese language is gaining popularity lately because China has become the power player in the world society. It increases its influential on cultural, technology, and economic power throughout the world including Thailand and ASEAN. The result from China economic expansion creates a huge demand for workers who possess Chinese language skills; however, the majority of the students are lacking skills in listening and writing.

Universities in Thailand must improve teaching method on Chinese language. This research will provide a clue and the way to improve on how to teach Chinese as a second language. An educator who reads this research will learn and understand on how to improve his teaching method in order to teach Chinese language effectively. It will help students improve listening and speaking Chinese better.
