A Study of State and Problems of Performance of Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization

Abstract

This research aims to 1) study the state and problems of the performance of Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization, and 2) compare the state and problems of the performance of Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization, classified by sizes of the Child Development Centers. The sample size consists of 127 Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization. The data are collected from 127 administrators by purposive random sampling and simple random sampling.  The instrument is a five-rating scale questionnaire that has the reliability of .89.  The data are analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test by setting the statistic significance level of .05. The findings showed that: 1) administrators is 85.98 percentage female, 68.22 percentage bachelor degree, and 68.22 percentage working in small child development center, as a whole, the state of the performance of Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization is at a high level and the problems of the performance of Child Development Centers under Angthong Local Government Organization are at a low level and 2) as a whole, the state and problems of the performance of Child Development Centers; small size, medium size, and large size, are not different.
