A Study of Conditions, Problems and Solution Guidelines of Academic Administration in Early Childhood Education of Schools in Pkranakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract

               This research aimed to study conditions, problems and solution guidelines of academic administration in early childhood of schools in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province. The research methodology consisted of 2 steps: 1) studying conditions and problems of academic administration including 156 teachers who were in charge of academic affair in early childhood as samples, the tool was a questionnaire and the data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation, and 2)studying solution guidelines of academic administration including 5 school administrators as samples, the tool was a questionnaire and the data were analyzed by the content analysis. The results revealed that : 1)As a whole, the academic administration in early childhood of schools in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province was at a moderate level. 2) As a whole, the solution of academic administration in early childhood of schools in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya province was at a high level. 3) The solution guidelines consisted of 5 aspects: 1) curriculum and implementation, 2) experience management for early childhood, media and learning resources, 4) measurement and development evaluation, and 5 internal audit. The important problem of academic administration was the experience management for early childhood. The solution guidelines were that the school administrators should revise importance and create awareness, plan and participate in workshops. They should make teachers hand in lesson plans, hold trainings and workshops, and invite speakers so that teachers and school administrators understand in the same way. They should analyze lesson plans, organize trainings for teachers’ interests and educational visits, provide information, documents, pictures or various videos related to learning management and experience corners so that they can apply for authentic environment of schools.
