A Study of Lunch Project Management of Schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya City Municipality

Abstract

               This research aimed to study conditions and guidelines to support lunch project management of schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya City Municipality.The research methodology was divided into 2 steps: 1) studying conditions of lunch project management including 160 school administrators, teachers who were responsible for the project and performers as samples, the tool was a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation, and 2) studying guidelines to support lunch project management including 24 school administrators and teachers who were responsible for the project as samples, the tool was an interview, and the data were analyzed by the content analysis.The findings showed that : 1) As a whole, the conditions of lunch project management of schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya City Municipality were performed at a high level. 2) The guidelines to support lunch project management of schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya City Municipality consisted of 1) administration: the schools should plan the project in cooperation with personnel in schools and parents, community or other private organizations, 2) budgeting: the schools should manage the budget of lunch project by using information of budgets received from government sectors and other organizations, other budgets that schools provided, 3) performance: the schools should provide space to build the cafeteria and set up the area of the cafeteria for the most useful including cooking area, cleaning area and dining area, and 4)supervision: the schools should take the performance results to improve the efficiency and quality of the project.
