The Relationship between Learning Organization and the Effectiveness in the Provision of Public Service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Sela Phum District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the effectiveness in the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Sela Phum District, Roi Et Province, 2) to study the comparison of the effectiveness in the Provision of Public Service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Sela Phum District, Roi Et Province as classified by the opinions of the officials and the people, 3) to study the relationship between learning organization and the effectiveness in the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization,

Sela Phum District, Roi Et Province, and 4) to recommend for improvement of the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization, Sela Phum District, Roi Et Province. There were 413 samples which consisted of 221 officials and 381 people. The research instruments used in this research were questionnaires. Statistical tools employed were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent-samples t-test, stepwise multiple regression that was significantly difference at the .05 level and content analysis to analyze qualitative data. The main research findings were as follow; 1) the effectiveness in the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization was in the highest level, 2) the effectiveness in the Provision of Public Service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization as classified by the opinions of the officials and the people was significantly difference at the .05 level, 3) there were two learning organization factors consisted of the Mental Models and the Shared Vision Building affected the effectiveness in the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization which could totally explain the dependent variables at 40.30 (R² = .430) with .05 level of statistical significance, and 4) the recommendations for improvement of the provision of public service of Pho Thong Sub-district Administrative Organization included; the organization should provide a questionnaire for public comments about the provision of public service of the organization and provide waste collection vehicles parishes to reduce landfill waste.
