Develop Online Resources to Enhance Computer Searching and Referencing Skills to Support Scholarly Work of Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University Staffs.

Abstract

This research aims to study and develop online learning resources for computer skills in searching and referencing to support the academic work of personnel in Kanchanaburi Rajabhat University. Offering information in categories of Acquiring Information, Referencing Information, Academic Work, and Using EndNote. Simply represent information in tab form and links up documents as video clips and PDF file formats to make user-friendly interface, support multi-platform hardware and responsive presentation. The results of the evaluation of online learning resources by 3 experts in aspects of the image, text, program and design, and content is in ‘Good’ level for both overall (  =4.25, S.D.=0.63) and each particular aspect. Applied this website to staffs restricted the research criteria. The majority of respondents aged 35-44 years (62.2%), most of them had Master degree (51.4%), Doctoral degree and Bachelor degree in order, majority hold working position as academic staffs (64.9%), and almost all would like to publish academic work to get promoted for higher position (91.9%). In addition, the questionnaire was rated "highly satisfied" by the respondents for both the overall (  =4.2, S.D.= 0.73) and by issues. The results of the evaluation were in the range of 4.05-4.38. The most satisfactory items of the three aspects can be used to confirm that the information and how they was represented were prepared and developed in accordance with the needs of the user. Later, comments from users will be applied to make this website more functional.
