A study of Relationship between Implementation of Tablets For Education and Achievement of National Test (NT) of Third Grade Students in Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study: 1) the implementation of tablets for education by the school administrators, 2) the achievement of National Test (NT) of the third grade students of primary schools, and 3) the relationship between implementation of tablets and achievement of National Test (NT) of the third grade students in the primary schools under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The samples were 186 school administrators working under Phranakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire with the reliability at .96. The statistical tools used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The results indicated that: 1) for overall and each aspect, the administrators could implement the tablets for education at a high level, ranking from high to low as following, leading, planning, organizing, and controlling; 2) the achievement of National Test (NT) of the third grade students were shown to results in the scores, ranking  from high to low, as following, language ability, logical ability and computational capability; and 3) in overall, the administration of tablets for education was shown to have weak relationship with the achievement of National Test, of which having some involvement with language and logical abilities, but not computational capability.
