Integrating of the Dharma principles for strengthening Thai community development

Abstract

The development for strengthening the society should look back to the way of life in Thai society in the past. Since the end of the reign of King Rama 5, Thai society is a society of hope because people are starting to open for changes. As there are many technological developments in information technology, Thai society is becoming a society that "Looking in front  with hope. Looking back with mournfulness." Currently, the government is trying to make Thai society to be modernized. This included having the modern communication tools and electronic devices, such as mobile phones, that has nowadays changed Thai people to be as "sociopathic people"  because they have interactions with their family and society  by constantly conversing and thoroughly seeing each other. It can be understood that the world is changing so fast that it needs to be developed to keep up with the changing of the technology. These days, ‘Looking back with mournfulness' suggests that we should use both of our eyes and heart to appreciate that we should be good and capable of developing ourselves before following those information technology. The transformation from agricultural to industrial society resulted a number of factories, and some of that are industrial estates. Such transformation leads to the development and also the changes of tools, working hours, and clothing from everyday clothing to be uniforms.
