The Study of the Problems and Guidelines to Solve the Problems of Internal Quality Assurance According to Ministerial Regulations in 2018 of the Schools in Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to investigate the problems; and 2) to study the guidelines to solve the problems of internal quality assurance process according to ministerial regulations in 2018 of the schools in Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The research methodology consisted of 2 steps; 1) The studying of the problems of internal quality assurance. The sample were 113 school administrators. The research instrument was the       5 rating – scale questionnaire. The statistics used for analyzing the data were mean, and standard deviation. 2) The guidelines to solve the problems of internal quality assurance. The data, given by 5 experts from purposive sampling, had Index of Item Objective Congruence (IOC) ranged between 0.6 and 1.0, with 0.99 reliability. The research instrument was an interview form and the data analysis was used by content analysis. The results showed that 1) The total of the problems of internal quality assurance was at a moderate level. The most frequent problem was an educational developing plan of educational institutions, followed by an operational planning, an institution’s standard, and assessment and educational quality examination on internal quality assurance, respectively. 2) For the ways to solve the problems of internal quality assurance process, according to ministerial regulations in 2018 of the schools in Phranakorn Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, the guidelines have mainly consisted of 19 items in 5 aspects; namely 2.1) the institution’s standard like SWOT analysis. 2.2) the development plan such as the direct committee to make responsibly the development plan. 2.3) the planning operation such as the effectively operational planning. 2.4) the assessment and educational quality examination on internal quality assurance such as doing Self–Assessment Report: SAR). 2.5) the data report such as appointing the committee to work appropriately.
