The Self-Practice Models Based on Principles to Win People's Hearts for School Teachers in Chanthaburi Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to develop self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province; and 2) to examine the suitability and possibility of self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province. This study was mixed method research. In the first stage, the quantitative research was used to develop self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province. The research validated confirmatory factors and empirical data using a group of 363 samples by applying Yamane’s .05 error formula to determine the sample size. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire. The created questionnaire had discrimination per item between .215 - .845, and reliability of the whole questionnaire was .946. The statistic used in the study was the single level confirmatory factor analysis (Single Level CFA). In the second stage, qualitative research was used to examine the suitability and possibility in practice of self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province from 8 senior experts who were school qualified teachers in Chanthaburi Province according to the set criteria gaining from focus group. The data was analyzed by content analysis. The results found that:
1. The self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province consisted of 3 components: 1) self-control, 2) human-administration, and 3) work-management. The examination results of self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province were consistent with the empirical data determining from the statistic used in examining validity of the following models: (x² = .011, df = 1, p = .916, x²/df = .011, RMSEA = .000, CFI = 1.000, TLI = 1.000, SRMR = .002)
2. The examination results of suitability and possibility of self-practice models based on principles to win people's hearts for school teachers in Chanthaburi Province from senior experts showed that suitability and possibility.
