Safety Management System on Tourist Attraction in Muang District, Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

Currently, Thai tourists has dramatically focused on secondary tourism. The safety management system on tourist attraction has played an important role. It has prepared to carry capacity. This research aimed 1) to study the safety management system on tourist attractions; and 2) to compare personal factors with the safety management system on tourist attractions in Mueang dstrict, Phitsanulok province. The quantitative research method was used. The sample was 400 Thai tourists in Muang district, Phitsanulok province, selected by accidental sampling. Data collection was employed by questionnaires. Statistical analysis was percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, and One-way ANOVA. The finding indicated that 1) The overall safety management system on tourist attraction in Muang district, Phitsanulok province, was generally rated high and across all specific aspects. The deception received the highest average, followed by hygiene/epidemics, while the natural environment received the lowest average.; 2) Personal factors namely gender, occupation, and place of origin among tourists were significant differences in their perception of safety management system on tourist attraction in Muang district, Phitsanulok province. The research was statistically significant difference at 0.05 level.
