เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมีความสำคัญต่อหน่วยงานต่าง ๆ ห้องสมุดเป็นหน่วยงานหนึ่งที่นำเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศมาใช้ในการปรับปรุงการปฏิบัติงานและการบริการ เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่บรรณารักษ์และผู้ใช้บริการ และเพื่อให้เข้าถึงทรัพยากรสารสนเทศได้อย่างสะดวกและรวดเร็ว บทความนี้นำเสนอเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศที่นำมาใช้ในทั้งการปฏิบัติงานของบรรณารักษ์และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศที่นำมาใช้ในการบริการห้องสมุด เพื่อพัฒนาห้องสมุดคณะมนุษยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง ให้ทันสมัย
