Library of Things: ความท้าทายในการจัดการข้อมูลบรรณานุกรมผ่านแนวทางการดำเนินงานหอสมุดแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

แนวทางการดำเนินงานจัดการข้อมูลอุปกรณ์ Library of Things หอสมุดแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอนหลัก ได้แก่ 1. ศึกษาแนวทางการลงรายการอุปกรณ์ Library of Things โดยสำรวจอุปกรณ์ Library of Things ทั้งหมดของหอสมุดฯ แบ่งได้เป็น 4 ประเภท คือ 1) อุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ 2) อุปกรณ์เสริมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ 3) เกมและบอร์ดเกม และ 4) อื่น ๆ จากนั้นศึกษาการลงรายการอุปกรณ์ Library of Things ห้องสมุดสถาบันอุดมศึกษาจำนวน 16 แห่ง ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบออนไลน์และสรุปรายงาน 2. จัดทำคู่มือการลงรายการอุปกรณ์ Library of Things หอสมุดฯ โดยสอบถามความคิดเห็นของบรรณารักษ์ผู้ปฏิบัติงานที่เกี่ยวข้องถึงการจัดการรายการบรรณานุกรมและรายการทะเบียนประกอบการจัดทำคู่มือ 3. แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้หลักเกณฑ์การลงรายการแก่บรรณารักษ์แค็ตตาล็อกให้ปฏิบัติงานไปในแนวทางเดียวกัน และบรรณารักษ์บริการสามารถสืบค้นและใช้ข้อมูลรายการบรรณานุกรมแนะนำผู้ใช้ 4. การจัดการข้อมูลอุปกรณ์ Library of Things ทั้งการแก้ไขรายการอุปกรณ์เดิมและอุปกรณ์ใหม่ให้เป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ และทวนสอบการลงรายการให้ถูกต้องอีกครั้ง นำมาซึ่งการปรับปรุงคู่มืออย่างต่อเนื่องเพื่อให้เนื้อหามีความสมบูรณ์
