การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจจริยธรรมในเนื้อหาของหนังสือ "สามก๊ก" ฉบับวณิพก (เล่ม 1) ว่ามีจริยธรรมใดบ้างที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือ "สามก๊ก" ฉบับวณิพก (เล่ม 1) หนังสือที่เลือกเป็นหนังสือที่เขียนโดยยาขอบ ซึ่งเป็นนักเขียนที่มีชื่อเสียงในประเทศไทย หนังสือเล่มนี้มี 594 หน้า หนังสือเล่มนี้ถูกพิมพ์เป็นของที่ระลึกในโอกาสครบ 100 ปีของยาขอบในปี พ.ศ. 2546 การศึกษานี้มุ่งเน้นไปที่การแสดงออกที่เป็นตัวแทนของจริยธรรมในเนื้อหาของหนังสือ "สามก๊ก" เป็นหนังสือที่น่าสนใจและมีผู้คนสนใจมาก หนังสือเล่มนี้ได้ให้แนวคิดและมุมมองต่าง ๆ เช่น ศีลธรรม การเมือง ประเพณี วัฒนธรรม ปัญญา เป็นต้น ผู้อ่านสามารถนำสิ่งที่เรียนรู้จากหนังสือไปใช้ในชีวิตจริง ซึ่งสามารถพัฒนาตนเองเพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับอนาคตได้
