The Development of Transformational Leadership Training Program for The Student Leaders of Navamindarajudis Schools Group.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop the student transformational leadership training program for student leaders of Navamindarajudis schools group 2) to test the student leadership training program and 3) to evaluate the student leadership training program.The procedures for this research were divided into 3 steps. 1) Developing the curriculum of student leadership training program. 2) Test the student leadership training program. 3) Evaluation the student leadership training program. The sample were 20 persons of student leaders of Navamindarajudus school. Content analysis, mean and percentage were employed to analyze data.The research found that 1) the transformational leadership training program for student leaders consisted of 9 modules : module 1, my favorite leader, module 2, full range leadership knowledge, module 3, guidelines for the development of transformational leadership in idealized influence, module 4, guidelines for the development of transformational leadership in inspirational motivation, module 5, guidelines for the development of transformational leadership in intellectual stimulation, module 6, guidelines for the development of transformational leadership in individualized consideration, module 7, Navamindarajudis student’s identity, module 8, planning for transformational leadership development of their own and module 9, monitoring and evaluation.2) The results of the implementation of transformational leadership training program indicated that the knowledge of transformational leadership and school motto increased 64.20 %. Behavioral scores of transformational leadership increased after training 26.39 %. The evaluation results of the training program appropriateness was at the high to highest level. 3) The student leadership training program was a little improved.
