The Editorial Board is pleased to present Volume 18, Issue 1 of Saengtham College Journal, which features sixteen peer-reviewed contributions, comprising one academic article and fifteen research articles authored by scholars, researchers, and faculty members from both Saengtham College and various external institutions.
The contributions presented in this issue reflect the interdisciplinary engagement of contemporary scholarship in the fields of education, religion, theology, philosophy, ethics, and human development. Collectively, these contributions align with Saengtham College’s mission to promote knowledge that responds to the challenges and transformations of contemporary society while fostering academic advancement, spiritual formation, ethical reflection, and human flourishing.
A prominent theme of this issue is educational innovation and the enhancement of learning in the twenty-first century. Several studies investigate the application of digital technologies, Flipped Classroom approaches, STEM education, gamification, cooperative learning, teacher development, and Competency-Based academic management. These contributions provide valuable insights into educational improvement and demonstrate ongoing efforts to develop learning systems that effectively respond to the demands of an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.
A second major theme concerns religion, theology, and spiritual formation. The articles within this issue explore a wide range of topics, including Christian virtues, sacred music in liturgical practice, preaching ministry, faith formation, and Synodality within the Catholic Church.
