Buddhist Abbots’ Leadership in Present Temple Management ภาวะผู้นำของเจ้าอาวาสในการจัดการวัดในปัจจุบัน

Abstract
Thai society changes rapidly, which affects the stability on Buddhism widely. Because of the continuous decrease of Buddhists’ faith, Buddhist abbots have a crucial role to restore their faith as quickly as possible. Buddhist abbot’s leadership is an important mechanism to drive authoritative monks to perform their duties better by using Buddha’s teachings (Dhamma), including wide vision (Chakkuma), profession (Withuro), and human relationship (Nitsayasampanno), for strong management of temples. Nowadays the duties of Buddhist abbots consist of Sangha Governance, Religious Education, Buddhist Supporting Education, Buddhist Propagation, Construction and Repair, and Public Welfare. The Buddhist Abbots have to apply the aforementioned Buddha’s teachings for effective temple management, eventually leading to such advantages for monks and Buddhists
