Abstract
The Chinese textbooks for the massive learners in Thailand are diversified, yet there is not one set that could be considered well-established. This paper provides an analysis on the strengths and weaknesses of the existing textbooks based on a large-scale survey of the Chinese textbook utilization in Thai primary and middle schools. The main purpose of this paper is to shed some light on the localization of the Chinese textbooks in Thailand to cater the needs of Chinese teachers and learners better.
