摘要
บทความทางวิชาการนี้มุ่งศึกษาในเรื่องเกี่ยวกับเภสัชศาสตร์ที่ปรากฎในพระไตรปิฎกของพระพุทธศาสนาเถรวาท อรรถกถา และงานเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความรู้ทางยารักษาโรคซึ่งพระพุทธองค์ได้แสดงไว้ รวมทั้งกระบวนการรักษาโรคต่าง ๆ และรูปแบบทางเวชกรรมตามหลักพุทธธรรมโดยนำข้อมูลมาจัดประเภท วิเคราะห์ อธิบายความ ตีความหมาย แล้วสังเคราะห์เพื่อให้เกิดกรอบแนวคิดทางวิชาการที่เป็นองค์ความรู้ ซี่งก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อการนำมาใช้ในทางการแพทย์แผนโบราณ จากการศึกษาค้นคว้าในเรื่องนี้ได้พบว่า พระสงฆ์ได้นำพืชสมุนไพร และสมุนไพรจากสัตว์ รวมทั้งแร่ธาตุต่าง ๆ ในธรรมชาติมาใช้อย่างผสมผสานเพื่อ การป้องกันรักษาโรค
