摘要

บทความนี้กล่าวถึงทัศนะของพุทธศาสนาที่มีต่อสตรีในด้านสังคม โดยศึกษารายละเอียดจากพระไตรปิฎกเป็นหลัก เพื่อให้เกิดความรู้ความเข้าใจในหลักคำสอนของพุทธศาสนาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับแนวความคิดเรื่องความเสมอภาค ความเท่าเทียมกันทางสังคม โดยพุทธศาสนาได้ยกระดับสถานภาพของสตรีในสมัยพุทธกาล การศึกษาข้อมูลต่าง ๆ พบว่าพุทธศาสนายอมรับให้สตรีได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมรับผิดชอบงาน ทั้งทางสังคมและทางศาสนา
