摘要
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อทบทวนวิธีวิจัยการวิจัยเรื่องเล่าที่เข้าสู่แวดวงการศึกษาทางสังคมศาสตร์ และส่งผ่านมายังการศึกษาและการปฏิบัติงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ในชีวิตประจำวัน เรื่องเล่านำพาจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญในการศึกษาจากการมุ่งศึกษาทฤษฎีขนาดใหญ่ที่อธิบายสังคมในวงกว้างสู่การค้นหาเกร็ดเล็กเกร็ดน้อยในมิติประสบการณ์ชีวิตของมนุษย์ ทั้งนี้ประสบการณ์ชีวิตที่มนุษย์ประสงค์บอกเล่าเรื่องราวนั้นก็ไม่ได้เป็นเรื่องของปัจเจกบุคคลบุคคลอีกต่อไป หากแต่เชื่อมโยงกับโครงสร้างสังคมที่เป็นพลวัต บทความชิ้นนี้พยายามนำเสนอฐานคิด ประเภทของเรื่องเล่า การเข้าถึงเรื่องเล่า การวิเคราะห์เรื่องเล่า ตลอดทั้งเรื่องเล่านำพาสู่แวดวงปฏิบัติงานสังคมสงเคราะห์ที่อยู่บนฐานคุณค่าบางประการในการนำประสบการณ์ชีวิตของมนุษย์ที่เผชิญปัญหาถ่ายทอดสู่สังคมจนกระทั่งผู้เป็นเจ้าของประสบการณ์นั้นผ่านพ้นสถานการณ์ปัญหาจนสามารถดำรงชีวิตได้ตามปกติ
