การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้กลยุทธ์การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเทพสตรี และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบการใช้กลยุทธ์การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษระหว่างนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักศึกษาที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 63 คน เป็นนักศึกษาสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ จำนวน 35 คน และนักศึกษาสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ จำนวน 28 คน โดยใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถามมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า (Rating Scale) 5 ระดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ t-test (Independent Samples) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี ชั้นปีที่ 1 สาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์และสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเทพสตรี มีการใช้กลยุทธ์การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษทุกด้านอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณากลยุทธ์เป็นรายด้านเรียงลำดับจากมากไปน้อยพบว่า มีการใช้กลยุทธ์การนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ กลยุทธ์ความรู้ความเข้าใจ กลยุทธ์ทางสังคม กลยุทธ์การจำ กลยุทธ์แก้ไขข้อบกพร่อง และกลยุทธ์อารมณ์และความรู้สึก ตามลำดับ และความแตกต่างของการใช้กลยุทธ์การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ ระหว่างสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ กับสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเทพสตรี ในภาพรวมพบว่า นักศึกษาที่เรียนในสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษและสาขาวิชานิเทศศาสตร์ มีการใช้กลยุทธ์การเรียนภาษาอังกฤษไม่แตกต่างกัน
