บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นมา วิเคราะห์การใช้คำ ความหมาย และขอบเขตของคำที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมไทย เฉพาะในการเรียนการสอนหลักสูตรสถาปัตยกรรมไทย ภาควิชาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยเท่านั้น เพื่อนำมาสร้างฐานข้อมูลอ้างอิงสำหรับนิสิตหลักสูตรทั้งระดับปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโท
ระเบียบวิธิวิจัยแบ่งเป็น (1) รวบรวมคำจากการสังเกตการณ์ในชั้นเรียน (2) ประมวลคำและจำแนกข้อมูล (3) รวบรวมนิยามของคำจากวรรณกรรมต่าง ๆ และศึกษาเปรียบเทียบ (4) จัดอภิปรายกลุ่มระหว่างคณาจารย์ประจำ (5) สรุปประเด็นสัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (6) สัมภาษณ์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ผู้ออกแบบการเรียนการสอน (7) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล (8) สรุปผลการศึกษา
พบว่า สามารถจำแนกได้ 4 หมวด ได้แก่ (1) หมวดระเบียบแบบแผน (2) หมวดองค์ประกอบสถาปัตยกรรม (3) หมวดวัสดุและกรรมวิธีการก่อสร้าง และ (4) หมวดลวดลายประดับตกแต่ง และได้เลือกหมวด (1) และ (2) มาศึกษารายละเอียด พบความพยายามอธิบายระเบียบแบบแผนประเภทอาคารที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่ในงานสถาปัตยกรรมไทย เชิงการใช้สอยที่ไม่เคยมีในอดีต ซึ่งสังเคราะห์จากประสบการณ์ของรศ.ภิญโญ สุวรรณคีรี มุมมองดังกล่าวจะช่วยกำกับความคิดผู้เรียนให้มีแนวทางศึกษาอย่างเป็นระบบ
