The Result of Information Technology Competency Promoting Activities (SSPC) on Seminars in Computers for Education Subject of Computer Program Kalasin University

Abstract
The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study the effectiveness index of the information technology competency promotion activities (SSPC), and 2) to study their satisfaction with their learning from the information technology competency promotion activities (SSPC). The purposive sample consisted of 26 third year Computer major students Faculty of Education and Educational Innovations at Kalasin University, selected by cluster random sampling. The research instruments were:1) an achievement test was found that value index balance between 0.67-1.00, the item difficulty ranged between 0.25-0.75, the item discrimination ranged between 0.33-0.67, the overall reliability was 0.65 and 2) a satisfaction questionnaire was found that the item discrimination ranged between 0.35-0.76, the overall reliability was 0.88. Statistics in analyzing the data were arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and effectiveness Index.
The results of research were found that: 1) the effectiveness index of the information technology competency promotion activities (SSPC) was high (0.60) and 2) Regarding satisfaction, the study revealed that their average satisfaction with their satisfaction with their learning from the information technology competency promotion activities (SSPC) in the overall was highest level.
