Abstract

In this study, the effects of entrepreneurial traits and organizational resilience on the growth of new ventures are examined and a model of the relationship between entrepreneurial traits, organizational resilience, and the growth of new ventures was constructed. The data from 527 valid samples collected with a questionnaire were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software, and the results showed that entrepreneurial traits have a positive and significant effect on both startup growth and organizational resilience, while organizational resilience also has a positive and significant effect on startup development. It was also indicated that organizational resilience mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial traits and new venture growth, while environmental complexity moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial traits and new venture growth. These research results are important for the theoretical construction and development of related fields and are valuable for the promotion of the robust development of start-ups and the improvement of the success rate of entrepreneurs.
