Abstract

In recent years, ChatGPT artificial intelligence technology has played a significant role in society, and its potential impact on the field of international Chinese education has attracted considerable attention. ChatGPT can serve as an important auxiliary tool in the development of international Chinese teaching resources. It can provide teachers with intelligent technical support and promote the broad development and application of learning materials. Although ChatGPT holds considerable potential in international Chinese education, its application also faces certain challenges and limitations. Based on existing research, this article expands on the functions and characteristics of ChatGPT, offers an in-depth discussion of its shortcomings in teaching and learning contexts, and proposes application strategies and recommendations for its effective use in international Chinese education.
