The objective of this article is to present the creative tourism activity patterns which is one of the concept that has been applied in Thailand 4.00 Policy which encourages high value service industry group. By reviewing various articles on this topic, it was founded the creative tourism activity patterns in Thailand and overseas countries are similar. These activities are classified according to the characteristics of the activities such as arts and handicrafts, local food cooking, local lifestyle study, folk plays and amusements and music. Therefore to develop creative tourism in Thailand, it is necessary to be aware of the factors that lead to the effectiveness of creative tourism. These are 1) the context of each community such as local cultural tourism resources; 2) responsibilities sharing such as having the local administrative organizations and local people expressing their points of views on creative tourism operation; 3) having alliances, for instance establishing relationship between the stakeholders and the people in community; 4) having attractive tourism patterns which are not similar to those of other communities; 5) management freedom, for instance the community’s freedom in administrating and managing tourism; and 6) having a strong and energetic leader and teamwork such as a leader who has a thorough knowledge and understanding about creative tourism. All these factors will develop creative tourism in Thailand to become sustainable tourism and better well known.
