This research aims to (1) explore the image of secondary schools. under the office of the board of Directors Basic Education Ministry of Education (2) To develop the image model of secondary school Under the Office of the Board of Directors Basic Education Ministry of Education and (3) To evaluate the feasibility and appropriateness of the image model of secondary school. Under the Office of the Board of Directors Basic Education Ministry of Education. The sample consisted of Schools under the Board of the Basic Education 2361 unit of analysis. Key information included school principal. Sizing samples using Krejcie and Morgan table of samples number of 331. The main living probability sampling by way of Stratified random sampling. The research data were collected by using opinion questionnaires, interview, and connoisseurship agreement. The research data were then analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The research revealed the following results: (1) Image of secondary schools under the office of the board of Directors Basic Education Ministry of Education the overall is very appropriate. By faithfulness in the most appropriate.. (2) The image model of consists of 3 steps of image building: survey, planning, development, and image strategy, proactive strategy, strategy development, public relations strategy and (3) The evaluation model Image building of secondary schools under the office of the board of Directors Basic Education Ministry of Education were graded as excellent in utility, correctness, suitability, and possibility, respectively.
