The Synthesis of Computer Practice Skills Instruction from the Concepts of Teaching the Practical Skills of Davies, Harrow and Simpson.

Abstract

This article has a purpose to synthesize teaching concepts practical skills follows by Davies, Harrow and Simpson concepts to apply computer courses management. There are 4 steps to follow (1) to study the principles and theories related to teaching skills (2) to study the principles of computer instruction (3) patterns synthesis (4) to present model of computer skills teaching from the concept of hierarchical classification three skills of Davies, Simpson, and Harrow concepts and can synthesize the hierarchy of six types of occupational skills: (1) Basic practice (2) Recognition (3) Preparing for implementation (4) Experimentation (5) Advanced practice to expertise and (6) Apply adjustment
