The study of the approach of gastronomy tourism development in Thailand found that tourists are interested in visiting and tasting food, learning how to cook, eating local food, and travelling in food festival. To develop gastronomy tourism, local identity is brought to create the food’s story, and the tourists have to participate in cooking through five senses in order to get new experiences. Moreover, the arrangement of food festival and special activity should be promoted through social media, broadcast local cuisine to the new generation, and guide the tourists to join new and creative activities. However, all festivals and activities are generated by the cooperation of the government and private sectors, and celebrities should be invited to guaranty the taste and amusement in activities. Additionally, the food and also area for cooking have to be clean and hygienic to attract tourists of gastronomy tourism.
