Organizational Culture Affecting Learning Organization of Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

The aims of this research were to: (1) study the organizational culture, (2) study of the learning organizations of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, (3) study the relationship between organizational culture and learning organizations of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2, (4) study the organizational culture factors affecting the learning organizations of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2. The samples were 155 executives and 384 teachers. The data from questionnaires were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation and Stepwise multiple regression analysis. The research results were as follows: 1) The organizational culture factors of schools in overall was at the highlevel ( = 3.91, SD = 0.837). 2) The learning organization factors of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 2 in overall was at a high level ( = 4.07, SD = 0.727). 3) Relationship between the organizational culture and the learning organization of schools was at a moderate level and it also showed the positive correlation significantly at .01 (p < 0.01). 4) The organizational culture factors affecting learning organizations of schools were including target aim of organizations, administration empowering and decision-making. In addition, the result demonstrated some important factors of learning organizations in schools and could be predicted the learning organization being at 45%
